Synopsis
Having finally become a schoolteacher, Lizzie revels in her independence and her cheerful classroom of Amish children. At home, though, her father’s poor health and her sisters’ engagements highlight her own uncertainty about Stephen, her future, and what she must sacrifice to follow her calling.
