Synopsis
French frontiersman Adrien Lockman escapes political turmoil at home, only to find Mary Standish half-frozen and alone in a mountain shack after her trapper husband dies. Snowed in together, they have to share food, fire, and slowly rising trust if they hope to survive the winter.
