Synopsis
Boston-trained nurse Cathleen Donaghue hikes into the Montana mountains to check on an elderly widow living alone, only to find the woman confused and failing. Her mission of mercy draws her into conflict and then cooperation with trapper Reuben Scott, whose family, grief, and wild homeland upend her tidy plans.
