Synopsis
Carmel Sheehan has escaped her convent childhood only to find herself trapped in a stifling marriage. When her late birth mother’s friend, Dr Sharif Khan, offers her a new life in London, Carmel must decide whether to defy small town judgment and finally live on her own terms.
