Synopsis
Called to a midnight fire in the woods, newlywed Kate Burkholder discovers the charred body of an excommunicated Amish man chained to a stake. Her investigation into Milan Swanz’s brutal death exposes a buried chapter of Amish history and draws suspicion dangerously close to her own family.
