Synopsis
Following cryptic signs, Nicci, Nathan, and young Bannon reach the petrified army of a long-ago war and the hidden city of Ildakar. Inside its failing magical shroud, decadent sorcerers rule over the ungifted, and Nicci must decide whether to uphold an alliance with a city built on cruelty.
