Synopsis
Nikhil Kozar, massive leader of the Kaliszian Elite Warriors, expects a routine rescue when a shuttle crashes on a remote world. Instead he finds Mac Wharton, a human guide brutalized by aliens and hiding a dangerous secret, and their bond pulls them into a conspiracy that threatens the Kaliszian Empire itself.
