Synopsis
As Matthew nurses hurt feelings after an argument with Kitty, he is arrested for the strangling of an ambitious actress whose body is found with his bootlace around her neck. Kitty steps into the theatre world, where old scandals and fierce rivalries give almost everyone a motive.
