Synopsis
At a glittering winter charity ball, Kitty Underhay's evening collapses when her father discovers their hostess strangled with her own silk stocking and is arrested for the crime. To clear him, Kitty and Matthew dig into family motives, jealous guests and a second, chilling poisoning.
