Synopsis
Emma Johnson knows answering a letter from the sorcerer Azar will come with a body count, so she and her team prepare for war. Instead they find themselves trapped in a deadly family reunion, forcing Emma to mediate with words and, if necessary, her terrifying ability to strip magic away.
