Synopsis
Once a celebrated courtesan and now a widowed countess, Evie Duggan retreats to a small estate in Pennyroyal Green after scandal topples her from the ton. She expects rural boredom, not the disarming kindness and quiet desire she finds in Adam Sylvaine, the village vicar who risks his own good name by caring for her.
