Synopsis
For generations the Elf King has claimed a Human Queen from Luella's village, and being chosen is considered a death sentence. When the king unexpectedly arrives for her, the practical village healer is dragged to Midscape, where she must learn to wield dangerous magic, heal a dying land, and decide what her heart wants from the cold, guarded king.
